About the Founder

Behind House of Weaves is a former advertising executive and founder of the lifestyle brand Indigo&Lavender, now based in Morocco. With years of lived experience and a scholar’s knowledge of rugs and symbolism, she brings depth to every selection—drawing from Moroccan, Turkish, Persian, Central Asian, and ancient Chinese textile traditions.

She curates with care, heart, and soul—holding the thread between heritage and presence.
