Are your rugs handmade?
Yes. Every rug in our collection is entirely handmade by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations.

What materials are used?
Our rugs are made primarily of natural fibers—including wool and cotton—and dyed using either natural plant-based dyes or eco-conscious modern alternatives.

Are your rugs vintage or newly made?
We offer both vintage pieces and newly woven rugs crafted in the traditional style. Each listing specifies whether a rug is vintage or new.

Are the rugs one-of-a-kind?
Yes. Most of our rugs are one-of-a-kind. We do not mass-produce. Each rug is unique in its pattern, color, and character.

Do the colors look exactly like the photos?
We do our best to capture accurate colors in natural light. However, colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out for additional photos or clarification before purchase.

ORDERING & PAYMENT

How do I place an order?
Simply select your rug, click “Add to Cart,” and follow the steps at checkout. You'll be asked to provide your shipping details and payment method.

Can I reserve a rug?
We do not hold or reserve items without full payment. Every rug is one-of-a-kind, and availability is first-come, first-served.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment options via Shopify’s checkout system.

Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address and applied at checkout if required by your location.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Where do you ship?
We currently ship worldwide.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout and depend on your location and the size/weight of the rug. We aim to keep shipping costs as reasonable as possible.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Orders are fulfilled within 3 business days of purchase.
Delivery time depends on your location and the global logistics environment.
You will receive a tracking number once your rug has been shipped.

Do you provide tracking?
Yes. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your rug is shipped.

Do you offer expedited shipping?
If you need a rug urgently, contact us before placing your order. We will try to accommodate your request when possible.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Do I have to pay customs or duties?
Buyers are responsible for any customs or import duties required by their country. These are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

Will my rug be delayed by customs?
Customs processing times vary. Most orders clear quickly, but we cannot control delays once a package enters your country’s customs system.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Can I return or exchange my rug?
We do not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final. We encourage you to ask any questions before purchasing.

What if my rug arrives damaged?
In the rare event that your rug arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos. We will evaluate each case individually and work with you on a resolution.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

How do I clean my rug?
Professional cleaning is always the best option. If cleaning at home, use a minimal amount of water and a natural soap (black soap, savon de Marseille, Alep soap). Blot gently—never scrub.

Can I vacuum my rug?
Yes, but use a vacuum without a rotating brush or set it to the lowest suction setting. Vacuum in the direction of the weave.

Can I machine wash it?
No. These rugs are handmade and should never be machine washed.

How should I store my rug?
Roll it (do not fold), store it in a breathable cotton bag in a dry, cool place. Avoid plastic bags or damp areas.

ETHICS & SOURCING

Where are your rugs from?
We source rugs primarily from Morocco, Turkey, and Anatolia—from artisans and collectors who work with integrity and respect for tradition.

Do you support the artisans directly?
Yes. We have direct relationships with our vendors and collaborators. We avoid middlemen and prioritize fair compensation and ethical sourcing.

Are your rugs eco-friendly?
Our rugs are made from natural fibers and often dyed using plant-based methods. Our process avoids synthetic treatments and prioritizes sustainability.
